Top 12 Sink or Swim

We haven't exactly had it easy either. We've paved our own way to 3#. Considering we had to start over completely for a second time around a month ago and are top 3 in bp isn't exactly weak. Oh and we never had to pact with WDM. We are still here fighting the good fight.

lol prety sure we paved your way to #3 by taking out everyone else. Pretty sure the only reason you guys made it to 3 branches is because you took in most of the trash from the alliances we defeated.

so.......how about the pound. Haven't heard from them in this chest puffing. They're the only one in the top ten not mentioned. I'm curious what's going on in the deep south

I rarely see coalitions work in this world, not sure how they are in other worlds. Usually they fall apart before getting anywhere. I agree with Venerable that having the top alliances all safe and such, makes the game king of suck. Would like to see some action between wdm and eviction. Hopefully that pact falls through just like the one with botrh and wdm earlier on in the world.

Doing pretty strong imo. As long as they remain in control of 56 they are in a good place.

There are pretty good reasons that havoc is a MRA... 259 players i count as of now... you have 20 players who have yet to get a 2nd city (Still recruiting at a high rate)... 3 alliances 2 of which are just a few players short of full the other is half full...
The reason you guys are at #3 is because BRH was preoccupying WDM and WTS. Now that we are free of that burden you know what comes your way.

The reason we are at #3 in bp isn't because we are an MRA... Our sister groups act very similar to your sister group. So essentially you are a premade with an MRA sister. Our core group is still in HE and doing rather well. Other than that we will see you guys on the battlefield ;)

I think HE will make to WW, and have a good shot at it, if they keep expanding south, and west. They should also trim the fat. Why have two extensions? If you don't want to look like an MRA, you have to do what is necessary.

We don't mind if we look like an MRA or not to be honest. Lead an MRA in Rho to WW's... Sometimes you find really good new players in the mix and they learn and become even better than players like you.

Haven't done one of these in a while, but I like that people are talking in the forums, again, so I'll do a top 12 (aka an analysis of the multiple coalitions that seem to have formed)

1. WDM/WTS: SWIM
The obvious leader in points, ABP, DBP, BP in general, 4 of the top 5 players in Kos, need I go on? They are definite favorites at this point. I don't know what their internal politics looks like, but that's always something that a lot of players overlook when doing top 12's. I doubt there are internal issues, but they can always tear and alliance apart.

2. Eviction/Reposession: SWIM
The number 2 leaders in points, ABP, and BP in general. They are a little lower on the list for DBP. I may be over analyzing, but I know WDM has both great attacking numbers and great defensive numbers. I don't know that Eviction has faced a big threat in a while; maybe their defense is their weak point? They are looking good otherwise. They have room to expand east and possibly north depending on their diplomacy

3. The Havoc, Elite, Ocean, Band conglomerate: Float
Before members of this coalition jump down my throat, hear me out. The main reason I say float is the fact that you has so many players. SOOOOOOO MANY. That means you have a lot of people to look out for and a lot of ways that eviction and WDM can worm their way into your lines and widdle you down. Are you high in points, absolutely. Are you high in BP, of course. Do I think you will be rolled over? Not at all, i think you will need to trim some fat. Once you do that, I think you are a very solid third and may be able to make a run at the top with some crafty diplomacy with either of the top 2 against the other

4. Top Gun/Blue Angels: Float
Kinda like Havoc in the regard that they need to trim fat. They have some great players and a few monsters in their ranks, but they also have a lot of lead pulling them down. They need to get rid of the weight and I think they will make it to the end. They have an NAP with Eviction and have the entire northwest to themselves. With that all said, they don't exactly have a lot of food once the remnants of BotRH are eaten. I am curious how they plan on getting more BP as they are quite low for their points.

5. The Pound: Float/Swim
I honestly wish I knew more about these guys, but I don't, so I will go off of points and what I have heard. They are in a good spot, decent points, decent BP and ABP. Their lack of DBP tells me they haven't really faced any threats, which is both a blessing and a curse. They will be able to keep doing their thing in the south, but if one of the big guys looks their direction, they may have a problem. They, like Havoc and Top Gun, need to trim their fat....probably more than the other two. They have some big guys at the top but are quite top heavy, which doesn't always bode well.

6. Bunny Killers: Float/Sink
These guys either need to find someone to work with in the top 5 groups or they need to run far and fast. They are getting chased down hard and I don't know that WDM is going to let them go. They do have good players but their BP is kind of disappointing. I know they have been around for only a week, but they are fighting for their lives. Hopefully once they get their stuff together they will be generating more bp, but for now they look like lunch that doesn't want to be eaten

7. The Bucs: My alliance Float
I see us going 1 of 2 ways. Either we go the way of the pound and just keep doing our thing or one of the big guys is going to look at us and think it's lunch time. I don't think that we would roll over and die but our size does not work in our favor against the big guys

I think things are going to stay very quiet until WDM and Eviction get bored and decide to go for each others' throats. That is a fight I am looking forward to watching and maybe even getting involved in. I hope Bunny killers gets it together and maybe forms a coalition with havoc, that may create a third group contending for the top.

Let me know what you think, what I got wrong, and maybe we can get a little insite on if someone is going to flip this world on its head?

Excellent top 12 +1

I'm a leader in Havoc and I don't disagree with your comment on us. Don't worry we will trim the fat as we go ;)

Interesting although it says top 12. It always seems to include fewer alliances than that.

You are only interested because your alliance is #11 right? lol

18 members innactive, surrounded by WDM, Eviction, The Pound, and Havoc with Rim to your backs. Sorry, but you will definitely sink.

I like that we are sink, love the underdog role. I love reading the Top 12's to see what others think of the position you are in.

We will see if we actually get rimmed. I wouldn't be so quick to claim that after an alliance thats been a week plus a few days old.

Could be. Its usually when we are the most comfortable when the bottom falls out.
