Since this is yet another dead thread I'll try and get it going again with a quick top 12 8)
1) Ace Of Hearts ~ These guys are clearly at the head of this world and appear to be holding on to the #1 spot quite well. Especially since they've lost only three cities in the past week while continuing to add cities to their ranks. I am though, quite surprised that no group of alliances have at least had a decent attempt to take these guys down - screams "NooB World" doesn't it?

2) The Ritchie Boys ~ Although I like the fact that the #2 alliance has less than 60 members, it would appear that these guys are having a decent little war with DKBT. It would seem that both sides are having decent losses.....

3) DKBT ~ These guys also have around 60 members which earns them a bit of respect from me but again, they seem to be going back and forth with their good friends The Ritchie Boys. I'm curious as to how that whole thing will pan out.

4) Colossus DB ~ The foremost alliance of what I'm going to call the "Collossus Nightmare". I may be a bit closed-minded here but I don't think I understand how any group of people can expect to manage that many players efficiently. I feel like these guys are only around still because their sheer numbers intimidate most folks and the rest of the world seem content rimming each other. I foresee this 'Federation' being one of the first major group of alliances to fall, but I have been wrong before

5) DemiGods ~ I don't know a whole lot about these guys but their grepostats tell me they have had a rough past couple of days. I'm interested to see how these guys progress.

6) Exiled ~ I've heard rumors of these guys being tied in with TRB. On top of that I have a large amount of respect for these guys having less than 30 members and being #6. I see these guys sticking around for quite awhile but it's hard to tell at this point...

7) Colossus NWS ~ Alliance #2 of the Colossus Nightmare. These guys are getting lots of action taking out their own in-actives and feeding cities to the rest of the Colossus Nightmare.....Sadly enough, the last time they took a city from a decent alliance was on 2013-04-06....and they appear to still be paying for that.

8 ) S.C.P.A. East ~ I'm not really sure what to think about these guys other than they are yet another 'middle-of-the-road' alliance. they don't seem to be doing anything extraordinary but then again, I can see a future with these guys lasting a long time. Only time will tell.

9) Colossus OW VvV ~ These guys are getting hammered, and if I was them I would go get hammered in RL and wait for the next world to come out and try again there. If you want an easy city it would seem that this is the place to go. I don't see them lasting too much longer.

10) S.C.P.A. West ~ Again, I'm not sure what to think here but their stats don't look so good. I expect them to be a part of some sort of merge soon. Otherwise I don't see them being a contender by the time the WW era rolls around.

11) Phoenix Rising ~ I've heard that these guys are tied in with the Colossus bunch. On top of that they seem to be making a point of rimming the Poseidons Republic which seems to be crumbling at this point. I look forward to see where they turn next.

My initial thoughts are that the alliances need to better manage not only themselves, but their relations with others. Besides number one, none seem to be able to hold their own. My feeling is that pacts will bring a more clear cut victor out front, but then again no one seems willing to extend their hand in fear that it will be cut off instead.

First, Please keep in mind TRB is holding it's own perfectly fine. We are at war with about everyone and I'd say a good 1/3 to 1/2 of our players were gone this past week.
As for pacts, who said they were necessary? You don't HAVE to have pacts. We are doing fine. No?

@Datepalm ~ Mate I'm well aware that TRB aren't going anywhere anytime soon. I'll be one of the first to say that that alliance is full of more than a couple good players. The stance I took when I wrote up that breakdown was meant to be as neutral as possible, as if I didn't even play in Epsilon. With that in mind, I would stick with every word I wrote - you said it yourself that you guys are at war with just about everybody so it would be pretty easy for a third party to assume that you guys may or may not be having a bit of a rough time...........
And pacts, well people could argue about that all day long. All I'm going to say is that the right pacts will make you, and the wrong pacts will break you - that's something I've learned the hard way more than once or twice.
I'm just glad I got some discussions going again - anybody else want to put their opinion on the top 12 out there?

This is funny, and I am sure it won't get me much love for saying it... But I was looking at grepostats and I just noticed colossus TCD the alliance has less attack and defense points combined then Petrika grosi alone. I don't know how that happened and I am not bragging for petrika he can do that all by himself. But since it is a top 12 post I figured that would be interesting to point out...
