Finding Alliances on the World Map or in the Alliance Ranking

The instructions state: "You can check which alliances are near you either on the world map or in the alliance ranking."

Sorry, I don't see any alliances on my world map and I don't see any alliance ranking. WHERE ARE THEY?????

Most players will belong to an alliance.
Most alliances will have a different emblem on their banner... If you click on a player's city and then on info, it will tell you what alliance they belong to.

On the bottom menu bar, immediately to the left of the main centre button is the world rankings button... It is the one with a number in the middle.
There you will be able to find stats on all players, players in your ocean, alliances, alliances in your ocean, Battle points etc etc etc.
