Thanks. What does the heavy part mean?
Sharp heavy simply means a lot of sharp units (aka heavy on sharp attack).

Seriously, (since the OP was banned), can someone make a "Defense For Dummies" guide ? Also redo this "Attacking For Dummies" guide and make them both include ALL available troops/ships best for/against each other.
That would be great. And I'd think your cool if you did that. Maybe even give you a "thumbs up" !
Seriously tho, could someone ?
I'm too busy (and/or lazy) to do all of that. But ask me any question here and I'll answer it. Defense is typically easier to breakdown.
.....**edit..... see originating post#24**
This is all I can think of for now.
Any further questions - let me know.

Wow dude, thanks a lot. That sure is a lot of information for someone thats too busy or supposedly lazy ! Haha ! I'd say you helped a lot.
This is my first city, I am trying to build up to be able to get other cities, but to do that, it doesn't seem like this current (first) city can be "Specialized". I do hear that word a lot and advice that its best for cities to be specialized, but man, I keep getting spied on, and attacked... and I want to attack to get a city, so it seems I need this first city to be "Well Rounded" ? No ? This will allow me to get my feet off the ground.
In any case, I do thank you for your help and I appreciate the time you took to write all that. I also appreciate your offer to allow me to ask you things. I may take you up on that.
Thanks again !
Well, it really depends. I actually specialize even my first city, maybe a little defense units just to make sure but typically it's an offensive city. When it comes to navy - you can't specialize your first city. It has got to have both LS and Birs cuz you're gonna be conquesting and because you'll need the defense. But yeah, you can either go mostly offense and then some defense with a mixed navy or go 50:50 offense and defense. It's up to you. I find that offense is the best defense but different people have different playstyles.
You're welcome!

Ok, then what is the best rounded Offense build of troops and ships for a "first City" wanting to do a take overs look like ? As in, if Defense is 6:5:2, what is the Offense version of this ?
I was going to say the same thing. That was a lot of great info for someone that was too lazy. Can't imagine what you would crank out if you were motivated. I also want to thank you for the extra info.
....*edited, See original post#29 for details*......
I had a question. I recently threw a bunch of attacking units and ships to go raid a ghost town, but when the report came back, it showed that all my forces were wiped out and i just showed a question mark for the oppositions forces. Can anyone tell me what happened?
thanks
The ghost town you were attacking had left over troops in it that defeated your attacking force, since there were no surviving troops on your end, there was no one to report back the size of the opposing army
LOL !! I had the whole thing visioned in my head the way it went down... Haha, no one returns, yea, so how would the emperor know what and who his troops were battling ?there was no one to report back the size of the opposing army
The colony ship disappears when you conquer a city. 1 CS= 1 City.
Got'cha. Thanks.
So (just asking), in the game worlds mind........ where does the CS go ? It just magically falls apart into drift wood once my people get off it ?
it's used as firewood during the night.
Is it possible to cancel an attack once it is on it's way, if it hasn't arrived at the other city yet? A naval attack.
Yea, just click on the little red "x" in the "troop movement" window thing that pops up when you are hovering your mouse over it.
