Is it the new quest after the patch?
I used the comander once and was also annoyed that the quest remained.
But apparently once you log out and in again the quest is completed.
Some bug of some sorts.

Yeah, task was long done, but I had to refresh the screen to clear it.

I have had this same issue. It's been stuck there for 3 days. I've done the quest repeatedly, tried both manually and the quest's intructions way of completing it, no luck. I never get the rewards.
