tryed to found a new city in lamia

i wanted to found a city on a achor point on my island, so i sent my colony ship and some troops to found the city. once it arrived there it said founding a new city. 24hours later nothing happend and i dint not get any of my population back either.

This is not a bug, this is god trying to tell you that founding is bad, mkay?

Seriously, try to conquer a town. Its worth waiting for.
