you are right your didn't fail, you just dissolved your alliance and quit the world. Definitely didn't fail

i didn't fail got betrayed by a member in alliance won't get into it though, alliance dissolved after betrayal and members moving to other alliance this world is doomed for failure and it will happen, last world i was on prior to this all the betrayals and scheming led to the world being closed prematurely and i envision this world to follow suit

We have lost a total of 52 cities in this world, don't have the exact stats but I would guess around 35 of those have been internals, if not more
