World End

This morning, Ialysos had 478 players with at least 1 city (down 10 from 2 days ago). I didn't bother to count how many of those players were active. The building sites for wonders estimates 17 months until the age of wonders begins.

My questions to Inno:

Will this world go into countdown before the age of wonders when it hits fewer than 300 players?
Can you somehow tweak the end world stats so we can begin wonders sooner than 17 months?

Thanks in advance

Meg - don't forget that the points needed to trigger WW start dropping by 13M after 6 months, and this isn't reflected in the estimate given when you click on a wonder site.

For example, in Eubea, it reports that it's 8 months until wonders start, We're down to 347 players, with only 117.45M points total. Extrapolating the point grown and trigger reductions out, it looks like we'll hit the point trigger in 4 months. That assumes the number of players doesn't trigger wonders starting. More likely, as soon as the 7th wonder is completed, the 30 day timer will start.

Even with that, the world will end in 12 months rather than 17 months (estimating)

Don't forget that all of those abandoned cities will eventually ghost and then disappear, lowering the world's points. And since many who are 'active' have now stopped building/gaining points, this world is going to get to WoW mostly from the 13MM points/mo decrease in requirements to reach WoW.
Let's see if this world gets more than 60MM points when it reaches WoW.
