We will be having the first Wiki Guides Competition. Please note that this competition is meant to help grow and expand the guides section of the Grepolis Wiki.
Competition Objective & Rules/Guidelines
The objective in this competition is to create a guide on a topic of your choosing. You will have 1 week to write your guide. There are several guidelines that you should follow:- Your guide should be helpful to newer players that may have little to no experience in the game.
- Your guide should be Grammatically correct.
- Your guide should have correct/current information
- Do not claim credit for a guide or campaign for votes (will result in disqualification) during the writing and voting periods.
Voting
The voting period will last for 5 Days. The author of the guide is to remain anonymous until the winners are announced. You will be voting for the BEST guide overall. Polls will be opened on both the US and EN servers with the players who gain the most votes for their guides winning prizes.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to players that place in the top 5.First Place: 2500 gold + a certificate
Second Place: 2000 gold + a certificate
Third Place: 1500 gold + a certificate
Fourth Place: 1000 gold + a certificate
Fifth Place: 500 gold + a certificate
First Place also gets the trophy "Oracle of Delphi" as well as "Oracle of Delphi" as his/her custom title.
Second Place also gets the trophy "Philosopher" as well as "Archimedes" as his/her custom title.
Third-Fifth Place also gets the trophy "Philosopher".
Philosopher
5 trophy points on EN and 50 trophy points on US.
Oracle of Delphi
10 trophy points on EN and 100 trophy points on US
Submissions
Please submit your guides to figtree2 via PM either on the EN forum or the US forum. You can send as many messages as needed up until the writing deadline.We wish you the best of luck and may the best author win!
