Unassign Here

I was just wondering, and I can't find it anywhere on here, but what happens when you unassign a hero? Do you get the points back? Can you just assign the hero to another city? Do you lose the hero all together? What?

Unassigned Heroes remain in your inventory and can be reassigned to any of your other cities as long as there is no other hero already assigned to that city.

Yes. They stay in the inventory. You can move them to any city you want.
