Turn off sound?

I've clicked all the notification buttons to turn off notifications, turned the sound to 0 and have the mute button checked. Nothing stops the sound. This is on a PC, not a phone. After I click save the sound is right back on blasting forth loud enough to annoy the neighbors next door. Is there anyway to kill the sound on this thing? I don't particularly care to have to mute my PC to play the game.

Are you sure there is an X next to the microphone in the top right corner?
Can we see a screenshot?

Try logging out. Waiting 5 min, then logging back in

You are also under attack and have Grepolis report converter. What does the noise sound like, music or like a car alarm?

Grepolis Report converter makes a siren like alarm when you are being attacked. Innogames does not provide support for Grepolis Report Converter but it should be able to be disabled by an icon on the bottom left of your screen. If you can't find it you may need to remove Grepo report converter.

Otherwise if it sounds like music please clear your cache and cookies and see if that helps. If not please create a support ticket so we can further investigate your issue.
