ethanEva, I salute you. Even though you were too far to be accepted into TU, I admire the fighting spirit you show. AW has to manhandle you to strip you of your cities, and frankly, it's cowardly and noobish for them to gang up on you like that. Even though we can't reasonalby send biremes to your cities, if you ever want to rejoin this world, feel free to message me and I'll set you up on a safe island near the action.

As for trpnight... there are a lot more reports like the one Tyler posted. Trust me. There are A LOT.

thanks guys.. Still holding on. Still have my cities actually. don't know why they won't take it over. maybe they can't, I don't know. it would be nice if their members would get in the forums though. it's like their(BR, AW and TW) home schooled and their moms(leaders) don't want them to get exposed to the banter thats happening outside their alliance. they don't want their kids(members) to know the truth about their alliance.

Still waiting for a rebuttal...

I agree the only major alliances I am seeing on ETA Forums are The Union and Night Warriors

I think because I enjoy all the forums, I have always exposed The Union members to at least this world's forum if not further. Ceru and Bill do the same. It's nice to have at least alliance leaders around and about to discuss things, send a little banter back and forth, ect. I just think it makes the world a little more exciting. You can get lost in those reports sometimes. :p

Yea it sucks that its usually only a few of us that ever really do comment lol. Minus the occasional AW comment , it seems the forums have a very few people who comment on the posts, I know more people read them and the players from smaller alliances might be hesitant to comment and draw the attention of the bigger alliances and players.

The smaller players and alliances are afraid of the hazing they will receive from Tyler and the few Union members that post here like Lidos. Also Tyler and his couple of buddies have a habit of degrading new players asking questions or making a comment on how they perceive the game. That being said, it's sad that 3 independents are in the top 12 of individual score and several more are in the top 50 or so. Maybe this game is more about skill and strategy than which alliance you happen to chose to join? FN has made some headway recently.... I wonder where those new points have mainly come from?

Edited: So that Tyler and his overly defensive response doesn't make it seem like I'm throwing his entire alliance under the bus. Maybe less hostility and more jovial communication in the forums will get more players participating instead of just reading. It's my understanding that prods and pokes at players and their play style are supposed to be curtailed in PNP threads and not on any and every thread of this forum but I may be wrong.

1. No TU players post here on a very regular basis besides myself. I don't think I know one that has degraded a player in anyway (Lidos does not count as it is his nature to be friendly while stirring things up at the same time, he has that very unique ability/trait).

2. That being said, might you be generalizing? Might you be grouping all 48 other players under my name? Ok maybe I'm a little harsh on here, but outside this forum? Answering player questions, helping many along, ect. I think your generalizing the few times I've been aggressive with my words isn't portraying me in whole truth. I respect all players, their opinions, their own history, their personality, ect. I welcome them all here. Now will there be trash talk? Of course! It's a forum to discuss battles and wars, should it being one-sided at all times? Point being, please do not judge my players that you do not know off my actions. They are terrific people and talking to any of them in any depth would surely allow you to see that.

3. Fatal Nemesis did a very interesting job in attacking. Let me warn you, some were well coordinated and timed attacks and I full recognize that, but others were, well not so good. Things like CS's in revolts, bireme/archer/sword attacks, little to no LS escorts, ect. I really can't commend them on the 60k DBP they gave ONE player. MzC has gained more respect form me in a few short nights than anyone on Grepolis. She just handled herself fantastically. I'm sorry but you can talk about the cities FN got off her, but with 2 alliances utterly surrounding one small group only goes so far.

DOUBLE EDIT: Sorry, one last thing. I understand that a few players have created a strong hold in ocean 65. That is impressive as resources are much more thin than while in an alliance (don't limit the word resources to materials, I mean everything". BUT, I also feel that building a string of cities surrounded by an alliance of total defense does not speak so highly as you first incur. What does it take to build a string of cities? Well not much. What does it take to create, maintain, and uphold a cohesive alliance under constant pressure? That is the best response I can give, as we may have different opinions on the matter.

Its true!
A lot of us spend our time reading these post, But we have nothing to add to the conversation. I know My group in the north has very little to add to a conversation about TU or any other big alliance; The only top 10 we come in contact with is AW/BR and they have stopped communicating. I guess AW is just to busy recruiting BR players to Chat anymore.

Actually, I am really enjoying the conversation in this thread. So far it has been very civilized and at times hilarious. (I loved the comments about the marshmallow and the chocolate but then as an old English teacher, I love playing with analogies.) I refrain from criticizing because I don't want my adversaries to know how they screwed up. It might be possible for them to learn something. :)

Sorry kkag, been busy playing in three worlds and running AW. We'll chat again soon. That's also why I haven't posted on here in awhile. I had surgery on my left arm too and that made it hard to type.
