So lets review a ridiculous post in hindsight shall we?
Yes, it means the main isn't well organized, doesn't have a good and clear sense of direction, and isn't a group of fighters so they hide behind numbers.
Clearly we arent well organized, havent ran multiple opps absolutely destroying our oppoents with. No sense of direction either, we have just secured 2 core oceans and are about to push into two others simultaneously by randomly taking cities. Clearly we arent a group of fighters, I mean look how bad our bp is, we totally dont have most of the top fighters on the server in our alliance.

LOL at this terrible post.
Better luck next time.

I thought we already discussed this?

My point was towards a generalization. Doesn't apply to all of course. However let's look at numbers then shall we (not going over defense, revolt worlds are for attackers)?

Beer Alliances Point Total = 14,522,165
Beer Alliances roster Total = 118
Beer Alliances Avg City Pt Value = 123,069.xxx
Beer Alliances ABP Total = 4,899,820

Beer Alliance Pt vs ABP ratio = 2.964:1 -> almost 3 points for every 1 point of abp
Beer Alliance Player Avg ABP = 41,523
Oceans controlled = 1.5 (EOD in 54 unless is your pactmate prevents full control (based on less than 100 cities to #2 alliance)

Kitties Alliance Point Total = 7,090,367
Kitty Alliances Roster Total = 121
Kitty Alliance Avg city Pt Value = 58,598.07xxx
Kitty Alliances ABP total = 3,247,411

Kitty Alliance Pt vs ABP Ratio = 2.183xxxx:1 -> JUST above 2 points for every 1 ABP point
Kitty Alliance Avg Player ABP = 26,838.1
Oceans Controlled = 1

So, as you can see from the math, the "city builders" here, would be the Beer alliances.... Not saying beer alliances aren't good. Not saying they don't have a clue, just saying, what the math says compared to Beer's #1 enemy :)

P.S. - this helps prove my point that you're trying to call out..

Lets not forget the fact we just added a bunch of points from their top players joining us so of course that is going to skew the numbers. But hey who cares about the details right? Those arent important.

You are saying we are not good though correct? and that Kitties are better because of some stupid equation? That must be why they are folding and we were destroying them in the war. Get out of here with your made up equations. Winners win, and right now we are dominating the server without pacts despite whatever stupid numbers you want to throw around.

OH and lol at us not controlling 54.

Might make sense if your math was right.

Curious as to what math you're using??..

So then you're pacted with EOD? Thought you just said you weren't???

And again, NEVER said Beer wasn't good. I'm simply saying, with the facts, that between you and kitties, they're the attackers and Beers are the city builders. Regardless Bend, you know as well as everyone else that gold doesn't make anyone good. Just able to reload faster. But if "details aren't important", then hey, tell that to your leader when the next OP comes up :) I'm sure he'll/she'll agree.

AS far as "dominating" goes.. LOL. And that is why, you have yet to win a world, much less complete one..

Anyways, I'd had enough of this silliness. Let's continue the topic....

Nope we arent pacted with EOD, but to say that we arent in control of 54 is ridicoulus. We have double the cities of EOD there.

Haha using your stupid equation again and not looking at the fact there was just a 4 million point swing between the alliances. Regardless of what stupid equation you want to use we are still doing more attacking and fighting on this server than anyone, inculding your alliance. Period. No way around that pesky fact. Since you are on the rim your cities are safe from us for the moment though. No worries.

Sigh, for one WW is not "winning" regardless of what Inno tells you when they give you a burger king crown. Two I won a burger king crown on en27 long ago before you were ever even playing this game most likely. You must have missed that in my autobiograhpy though when you read it. It is evident that I am speaking with someone who wants to pretend they are very knowledgeable about the game, but clearly isnt. Yes we are dominating at this point, are we going to continue to dominate? I hope so, but cant say for sure. Being number one in everything and winning all wars by a healthy margin is dominating though yes. Anyway have fun playing on the rim in your second tier alliance mate.

Sunvaar you really gotta stop being so butthurt, not even sure why you are in the first place considering you're simming in O34, 35 and 24...

The beer alliance is clearly dominating right now and most big players from meow and unlimited access have jumped ship. Beer has now clearly started an op on honey badgers and we'll have to see if we manage to fight them off or fall like the rest. The badgers have had considerable success against Red Berets and Overdose but I'd contribute that to a very small number of players, I feel a large number of players in badgers are still simmers, so this is going to be a difficult fight for us.

Srachit,

Nobody is "butthurt"?? I'm simply stating the facts and proving a point of my views to Bend. You guys can disagree all you want but it doesn't make the truth an less the truth.. And again, for the THIRD time, I never ONCE said Beer alliances stink. The numbers are there for them to be #1. However, I haven't fought Beer (or been part of them) so I can't say anything about their tactics and strategy. <- And that's what makes a team good, not points..

And you do realize I have 10K more APB than you, and I've been asked to join your team right? But hey, if that's simming, then cool

As for RB, well, idk if you're a leader in HB, but let's just say the leadership (HB) is discussing some things and getting back to me :)

Prevents drama from noobs and people who like to pound their chests and talk big game when they have 0 bite..

As far as "backpedaling".. Kinda hard to back peddle when you provided factual evidences don't you think?..

Anyways, keep playing cowboy

I never understood why people who feel a compulsive need to be in a 100 person alliance sign up for a 35 cap server. I wish they would prevent shared forums on these small cap worlds or do whatever would make it as miserable a possible to run what amounts to an MRA. But no matter...

IS the equation above stupid or not stupid? that is an interesting debate to have.

In fact the math, as presented, is a measure of warfare productivity vs building productivity. I would argue it is an interesting metric to watch, for the following 2 reasons:

1 - As we all know this game has its fighters and its simmers. We all lecture one another about points being irrelevant, and how only fools overbuild cities. And yet most people, even those who know better, are drawn to favoring high point players/cities. So the argument that was "our numbers are off because we took in a bunch of top players" runs exactly the wrong way. That is judging top players more on a function of points than warfare. A high point person who emails and wants to sign on makes us feel like we are running the best organization since Starship Troopers, but how how good are we at assessing who to give that last spot to? Not as good as we think. We are Point Queens. So the equation is a nice way to figure out how faithful a player is to the credo "better one more dead myth nuke than a level 40 quarry"

2 - Fighting wins games. People who fight more simply do more work in the game. Not the mouthbreathers who send non-escorted archer nukes, but the average competent fighter.

PS - It is total BS that Hydras cannot farm favor. I have wanted to build a Hydra for 5 years and that would finally be the motivation I needed. If a pathetic envoy can run away with 5 points under his golden skirt, how can a hydra not rip 25 points out of a temple???????

What matters is total fighting power. Not how many cities/points it take to get said bp. If I have 15 cities and can destroy you when you have 10 I still destroy you. Looking at bp per points is a dumb arguement. Total bp is what's important. Obviously if I have more cities I can produce more troops and therefor get more bp. It's not like anyone here started with more points than another.

SWING AND A MISS!

My entire point was that city points are a valueless measure of player productivity - within reason of course.

If you have 15 cities and I have 10, and you are a simmer who built his marshmallow empire off internals and ghosts or other unchallenging takeovers, I will stack your dead troops at the harbor wall and use them for sand bags. The ship hulls I use for my chain of pirate themed skate parks.

And while I cannot look at ABP alone and tell if you are a good fighter, I can certainly tell if you are a bad one. And that's all I need to know

You are having a difficult time decoupling city power from warfare productivity - it's a common mistake. Being attracted to city power is like dating the hot girl whose three brothers just got paroled from that aggravated mayhem conviction- in your heart you know it's wrong but you just can't help yourself
