The maximum amount of resources for this village reached

As player Voltimur on the US domain I just received this error after doing five minute farm/looting since 5 am when I woke up after surgery and have been trying to pass time.

Is it a bug or a new implementation to throttle things back?

This is not a bug, there is a maximum and it resets daily. It is also not new.

Not a bug nor a new feature. It's there to stop the too active players getting a huge advantage by demanding too many resources. It's rarely an issue as most people aren't that active.
