1. Radioactive- Swim, with a nice Triple-Decked Casino Boat- Has been plowing through anyone they set their sights on. The Borg Collective, Eighth Circle, Futurus Sanguis (sadly, my old alliance
), and most recently Honour and Power. Current median time for destruction? About 3 days. They are currently going through The Summit/Peak with an impressive 47-1 Conquer ratio. Seems their being held back by CP more than Summit and Peaks troops.
2. Anastasis- Swim, with a couple Jet skis- Sitting comfortably at number 2 in both Points and Attackers, they seem to be the other horse to really bet on in this race. With complete control over Ocean 64, and little to no resistance both Northwards and Southwards, they could easily dominate 3 of the Outer Oceans.
3. Nuke- Swim, since they've been invited to the Casino Boat- Surprise, Surprise. Radioactive sister alliance made not only the top 12, but the top 5 and top 3. Has been absorbing some of the other alliances better players, after said members alliances have been sufficiently nuked. While destroying an alliance and cherry picking its best players may seem like a low tactic, it has been a solid plan for both Nuke and RA. What else is there to say about these guys? Messing with Nuke means messing with RA, and messing with RA means an alliances downfall.
4. Burn in Hell- Float, with some arm floaties for added bonus- Sitting on the border of 54 and 53, these guys have a somewhat nice core. If they focus on securing Ocean 53 they could become a thorn in everyones side. Currently pacing strides with The Summit in ABP, these guys do have potential, if lead correctly. However, they share a flank with RA at the South and Anastasis to the East. One mis-step, and this could be a Cinderella story (and not the Disney one either.) With recent exchanges putting them on the map, things could fall either way.
5. The Summit- Floating, but the inner tube seems to have a rather large hole in it- Currently placing 5th, these guys have some serious thinking to do. Being on the losing side of the war with RA (RA 47 to Summit 1), something will have to happen. And soon. If they dont find a way to halt RA and Nukes march through their cities, they will become just another Trophy on RA's wall. However, if they do manage to either slow, or stop RA's march, they could very well start again in Southern 45. Only time will tell though, as no one has withstood Radioactive's fury for long. They also have a commanding lead in DBP, sitting at 350k (though whether this is good or bad is a topic for debate) and sitting 5th in attacking, the inner tube seems to be floating down the river for now. Though I recommend leaving the Beer at home next time.
6. Hell Hounds- Float, until someone starts making waves.- Placing 8th in attacking and 12 in Defending, these guys either have no one to go to war with, or stumbled into the wrong game of Sim City. However, they are well placed, being a hop, skip, AND jump away from the main killers in Ocean 35, these guys could become a force to be watched. This colossal feat will take a nice sized bonfire to be lit under their collective behinds, and it seems everyone left their matches at home. However, the world is very stormy, and a lucky bolt of lightning in the form of a leader could be just the thing these guys need.
7. Faceless Elite- Swim, with an impressive backstroke- Being formed after the collapse/merge of The Lords of Chaos and The Summit, since these guys appeared, they certainly have made an impression. Sitting with only 30 members at the moment, these guys are lower on the leaderboard than they should be with an impressive 25k point average, placing them a solid 3rd in my book. Watch out, because since these guys popped up two weeks ago, they've climbed to number 7 in ABP, while sitting in the 30's for defending. Seems like their foes never get the chance to attack back. These guys have a nice position in Oceans 56 and 66 and with more members, these guys could easily become the Dark Horse of this world. This alliance is being put under Achiakos' must watch list.
8. Searis Soldiers- Floating, because the water isn't that deep- Not only have I never heard of this alliance before today, apparently neither has the rest of the world. They sit at the very bottom in Ocean 46, with no major threats in the immediate vicinity, as is obvious in their ABP and DBP, ranking in at 13 and 24 respectively. Once a major alliance with coordination turns their sights on these guys (Faceless Elite or The Summit{if they survive RA's hammering}) the floodwaters will come rushing in like the Nile. Then that little pond in the sun won't be as awesome as it sounds.
9. Dark Moon- Sink, with desperate gasps for air- Sitting at 12th for Attacking and 14th for Defending, these guys are around because nobody has them very high on their threat lists. Seems like these guys believe that diversity is good. And diversity they have. Having a city in almost every ocean is impressive, but this is the only thing they can boast about. This alliances isn't doing much more than building cities for RA's eventual conquest (and Trophy list.)
10. The Rat Patrol- The Name should be clue enough. Rats NEVER swim- Not much to say about this alliance. Though they do sit at 10th for attacking and 8th for defending, these guys sit right smack dab in the middle of RA and Burn in Hell. With the former being notorious for destruction, and the latter looking for something to cut their teeth on, these guys will jump ship faster than, well, a pack of Rats. These guys will be just like the Titanic, minus the part with the impressive looking ship.
