In the spirit of openness and transparency, we publish this roadmap to let you know about our plans for the current year. We hope you will be as eagerly looking forward to it as we are! Like all roadmaps, it may shift slightly, but we will share insight into what is happening as details become available. The listing will be done in the current planned order. We will keep the roadmap updated on the DevBlog.

Update Logout Prevention
It is more of a technical thing but this should improve your game experience quite a lot! Every time we update our servers to a new version we currently have to logout our players. Sometimes that happens while you want to send out attacks or while you are writing a new message. In the future we will inform you some minutes before we run an update in order to let you prepare for the downtime. While the update is running you will stay in the world but you can't do any action. After the update is done you can directly reload the page without being logged out.

Bundles & Packages
To make Gold purchases more attractive for everyone we want to reward certain purchases even more. That's why we will introduce a nice addition so players will get some predetermined items / rewards upon purchasing certain Gold packages.

App Usability Improvements
Our UX Designer is constantly focusing on creating concepts for usability improvements which are aiming to make the app more comfortable to use. Over the first months of the year we will work on these changes and roll them out progressively. Besides that we plan to provide a concept for integrating the forum into the app. This concept also includes the display of BBCodes and published reports.

Early and Midgame Features
We have been working a lot on the tutorial, as well as on first session improvements over the last year. Now it's a lot easier for new players to get into the game. Building up the first city takes a lot less time and the game will be more exciting a lot earlier on. These improvement were necessary because we want to keep as many players as possible that try our game. The more players that are out there, the more enemies you will have to face and some of them may become your new alliance mates! Fastening up the buildup process of your first city was just the beginning. We want the game to be more varied, especially within the first weeks. We are currently planning to add more fighting possibilities to our farm villages on the first island.

Endgame
We have been carrying out that one for quite some time and we cannot actually promise when we will tackle this topic. We definitely want to come up with more features where alliances can compete against each other and not only through sending resources to the world wonders.

Activity Bonus Revamp
As the daily login bonus turns out to be quite boring and isn't quite appealing after some time we would like to revamp it to give more incentive for players who frequently log into the game.

Alliance Improvements
We know that alliances are an important part of the game already, but we want to emphasize them even more! With more tools, more cooperation, and a bigger emphasis on the importance of assisting your alliance mates! Being part of an alliance will never be as important as this year!

Player Invite Revamp
Same as for the activity bonus, the rewards players can get when inviting new players to Grepolis could be more attractive. Therefore we want to build a better reference system with more exciting rewards.

Besides these topics, there are also some more which will require our attention, time and resources over the year.

Technical Improvements
Grepolis is a big project with many dependencies, not only internally at InnoGames, with some of our services, but also externally. We have to adapt our Apps to Apple and Google requirements, our Facebook Connect plugin to the Facebook API changes, etc... Some parts of the game, although they are working properly, require some re-factoring to keep them up to date and running properly.

Events
We will introduce some more events throughout 2015, but right now there are no active concepts ready for new events. So we can't really tell you what these events will be about for now! Most of them will reuse some of the mechanics introduced last year, with many improvements and exciting new rewards. A revised Easter event is already being planned. So... stay tuned!
