That's irrelevant. Any experienced player knows you should never send an unescorted attack. No excuses.

And your point is Trys? So you send a few more LS, get the city cleared of biremes, oh hey, there's a bireme building, and it finishes before Acu's attack lands, or a bireme comes in with some support that arrives after the LS. So, who's at fault again? No matter how you try to spin it, it's Acu's fault for not escorting his TS. I don't care what the excuse is, you always, always escort TS, preferably with LS but even a bireme is better than nothing.

If your gonna send a attack with no LS, at least put it 1 or 2 seconds behind the LS attack!!

Indeed, I sent them without Light ships. Wonder why? Not researched yet. Worth the risk? Hell yes.
I don't mind they sank, I've got that rebuilt in a small 2 days, big deal. I would prefer having them sent - showing I am ready to support my alliance members at any cost - than sit back and do nothing.
You've also missed out the part before that - neither me nor Trys, nor anyone else that sent troops, had expected this ammount of biremes. We had a small LS wave before my main attack - then my main attack with light ships - and then this attack, assuming all biremes would be wiped out at that point (Apparently, they didn't).
I don't see what the arguement is about to be honest, but it's quite enjoyable to see I have my very own topic on the Alpha Forum - I'm famous
PS: It's good to see there are threads like these, because I'm the only one on the world with some decent Grepo experience that has done this

There's a difference between supporting your allies, and simply wasting troops by sending them on a suicide attack.
Should've planned better, shouldn't be too hard for multiple top 12 player.

second:he had plenty of troops, and it doesn't seem to have put him back very far. Why are you complaining. Evidently someone got a bunch of DBP, no reason to complain.
third:yes he is proud, that means that everyone experienced is going to play well, and that he was first at something

It did put him back. He lost a bunch of troops without gaining anything at all. He made a mistake resulting in a setback. I don't care how good he's still doing, he could have been in a better position had he not made that mistake.

The reasons are in the rep too. I mean, thanks for the +rep (even though your repping power was 0, it was a nice gesture) but that doesn't mean I can't -rep you when I feel the need to.
Maybe not far, but he could have been in a better position had he not made that mistake. And still, it's irrelevant if it put him back or not, the fact is, he made a noob mistake
It's a shame acupuncture doesn't reply to me himself, would keep this forum more lively

He replied saying he was famous and "trying" to brag... Acupuncture... What did you send the attack a hour after the LS landed? You could of even just put the LS with the attack and you wouldn't of lost ALL your transports. Not really just a noob mistake. It's just showing your a noob who uses a lot of gold to get his cities
