i believe its a +100% defensive bonus if attacking at night. It's only on a few of the international servers I believe. For example, if you're playing on the greek server, chances are you're in Greece and have the same timezone as the majority of the other players on that server.
It's not on the US server though. Likely because of the many different timezones of people that play on here.
