QUESTION: academy applying to Myth units

Hi I saw a thread regarding myth units and phalanx not applying to myths. I was wondering if break thru works with myth units if they are ground troops only..

Breakthrough has no purpose with land units only. It is meant to be used to break through the harbors defense so your land units will still do damage. If you send a land attack only you would not need to break through the harbors defense.

I know you need the LS escort, I meant in general would it apply to Erinys, centaurs, or cyclops. I was told that the phalanx does not apply to them and was wondering if the break thru worked with them and having the LS escort. I was referin to land units as not flying myth troops, sorry for the confusion.

If you are talking about flying units, you don't need breakthrough they just go over the birs. If you mean non flying units, they work the same as normal troops (assuming they are in boats). If you are talking about on island attacks, breakthrough is irrelevant for both ground troops and myth units.

Breakthrough will work with a sea attack if the attack is escorted by navy units. It doesn't matter if the transports have myth units or non-myth units.
