When you wish to see what is around your island or just want to go exploring.
You Hold-LMB while cursor is on the ocean and drag. You can pan around the ocean looking and exploring. when you let go you can move the mouse and CLICK Drag again.
BUT, if you Hold-LMB and try to drag, you get a translucent dark blue shadow that shows where you will be moving to. The problem is you are locked in this move till you click again to release. But the shadow now show up when you use the mouse button and you can no longer Pan - you are basically lock onto the current screen area and can no longer pan freely.
The only way to remove this is to either Refresh your browser or re-log.
I am not sure how to explain in words, but it is frustrating not to be able to freely pan without having to refresh when every you click drag an island by mistake.
