I have a n00b question

I am sitting here playing the game and I see my Alliance (Freedom Fighters) is rank 1 in Ocean 65 (the location of my city). But I was wondering.... How many oceans are their in Hyperborea? I have a few members that are located in other oceans so that kinda helped in the curiosity lol

Second question... can someone explain this whole "Reservations" thing to me?

I'm new too, but let me take my best shot:

Hyperborea has 100 oceans; 0-9 on each axis, X and Y. Not all oceans are populated yet. Population starts in the center; 44, 45, 54 and 55 are the first oceans filled, then it seems to spiral outwards as more folks start the game.

I believe reservations are how you claim some Polis site for your own expansion. This is not binding through game mechanics, only if alliance members honor it.
