How do I avoid MRAs?

Ok so this is my second attempt at a world, both times now I have ended up in an MRA. In Marathon I am a member of Big Cats ( actually quit playing that world when this one started still have not been kicked from the alliance even told Bear666 that I was quiting) and now I have been a member of Warriors of the World which had two pacts before the first week was done (the following and the vikings) I somehow got picked as diplomat for the alliance but by the start of week two had been denied joining another alliance because I was a member of an MRA at the start of the world and then promptly got conquered by Buckeyes... Most people in my alliance had not yet even researched LS at that point and the ones that had already had burned theirs on other seiges. So I started over. Now I am in the slowly collapsing academy yes I had to join one of those for some semblance of an alliance to help me start a new city, of The following. How do I get out of this stupid rut.:\>_<

Usually I just try to be funny, keyword "try", or talk a lot of crap if I can on these forums. Honestly, though I believe this thread needs real attention.

First off, I think it is ridiculous for anyone to deny you entrance to their alliance bc you were associated or were with an "MRA", if anyone ever told me I couldn't join bc of that, I would make it my job to annoy them the rest of the server. Players that are very active and willing to learn the game should not be shunned, but embraced. WE WERE ALL NOOBS, GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSES PEOPLE!!! Honestly, its a good thing they didn't let you join, they sound like lousy people.

ANyways, it takes time to find a good home, and luckily for me I had an amazing player take me in and teach me the game after I attacked him with non escorted slow trans and swordsmen ( that is not a joke, you can ask AD). Their are some really good players that are willing to teach, but you have to be willing to learn and forget what you think you know, and listen to the ones that do know.

Now, to stay out of in MRA is simple, their are numbers of ways to check out what the leader is all about.
1. Check out grepointel, do some research. I don't believe grepointel tells the whole story of a player, but if said leader leader has led 10 alliances in 10 diff servers and is either not around anymore, or has ultra low points but are filled to the max on cap, good chance he/she runs MRAs.

2. If invited to an alliance, ask what they are all about. If these two phrases pop up, steer clear.

A) "we are about peace, not war" - its a war game, they like to build cities......simmers
B) " We have multiple allies and are pacted with everyone in our ocean" - They are huggers, therefore not fighters, and wont be here long"

Look man, im not gonna pretend to be a guru of the game, cuz im not. But I have had some awesome players teach me a lot, though most of the guys that taught me are not the most well received people in grep, they are some of the best. I hope all goes better man, and don't let idiot players ruin your gaming experience bro. Hang in there.

chub, i hear you bro... your not alone... unfortunately people with big heads think that mra's are ridiculous... well i hate to tell them if it werent for the mra's they wouldnt have a full world.... they would be stuck playing the same old people.... legio isnt an mra we have come from another world playing together and just didnt do the premade thing... which we should of.... we lost major ground trying to reorganize.... but we are on the way... if you want to message me ingame, we can talk about your future... you seem like a good player and have an upbeat attitude... i would welcome all players like you... talk soon...

:\ so proud of you guys. My little Clint is growing up so fast! Seriously this is the best posting/thread in all the Pella forums. Chubs1994 looks these guys up. I know Clint means what he says. BB is no slacker either. And to those who said no way MRA. They have just been blinded by their own self infatuation. I have seen MRA's come out of nowhere and take down the fancy premade so called "elites".

Clint jk about the growing up part kiddo. thisisgrepolis

Lol

Forgive me for showing my ignorance: with an alliance cap of 40 exactly how does one get an MRA?
I propose the equivalent on small alliance cap worlds is the MPA - Mass Pacting Alliance (aka Tribal Hugs for Grepo)
