Ocean view doesn't change with City

Well - I want to post it.. I can change my city, but the island view doesn't change to my new city as in other worlds I've played.

Settings (Gear on top right of screen) > Game Settings Heading > Map > check box next to "Centre your city on the map after switching cities"

Not a glitch. User error.
