Like I said, ill let him explain it, Also obviously we didn't attack when it had 3k bi in their lol. would have been such a waste for a pointless city.
Ok, let me start off by saying stating some facts. 1) I have 1 city in o44 and the rest are more than 1 ocean away in o33. 2) I have 18 cities total and Crego
had 
40 at the time 3) I only had the city for 3 days, maybe 4...to build as much as I can 4) about 95% of the support in the city was mine and mine alone.
How it played out:
Attack started and ranged from 2hrs to 8 hours in TT to hit the city. About 30min after I saw the swords flashing, the first CS appeared. First thing I did, was send the rest of my support at the city using speed boost (I had 4 saved up)...most of my support arrived in 4-6 hours time. Then what I did, was I times 40 manti's to land at the
EXACT same time as the CS, as well as 240LS 3 seconds after and a 96 harpies 6 seconds after. The CS never had a chance. BUT....
Crego did the whole switchero and ended up using the CS as a distraction to a CS that landed approx. 5 hours after all attacks started.
He ended up clearing the city, I chose to NOT dodge for the bps. 1-2 attacks hit while the city was empty, but then my re-enforcements started landed and what do you know...they ended up landing a few minutes before his 2.5h TT CS and sniped his CS.
Was a fluke? I send the support to land before what I though was the only CS to keep the support high for bps. As soon as Crego launched the second CS, I had NOTHING close by (naturally, primarily being in o33) but had enough support land that I knew the CS was toast also. I kept track of the speed of all 40+ attacks...in case he tried to slip a cs in between attacks, I'm well familiar with that trick.
I also posted in our forum (internal forums) and in bold large letters stated NOT REQUESTING SUPPORT. and the posted the hits. I was confident enough that I was not going to lose the city. considering...and I'm sure a certain ally can confirm this...I had enough in the city to defence snipe the CS or back snipe the CS.
We could call it a fluke, but I also did things a certain way on purpose in case of a certain slipping of a cs. The fact is, A cs was sent with less than 1/2 the TT from any of my support to snipe....while crego knew I had no way of supporting my city at that distance...a little unfair, but tis the way the game goes. I play with what I got, and what I had was enough to stop 2 CS from landing and my reward was 54K bps.
NOW as for the city I took. I cleared the city...ALL by myself. I send a cs and noticed keelee send an attack or two at the siege since clearly his trip was cleared. So I pulled the CS. Again, I cleared the city and his trip and then resent the CS a second time, killing his trip a third time. What does keelee do? he sends support to the city. What do I do? I start attacking him and distracting him and he never bothers checking crego's city. I sent support to the city from o33 considering the siege went unnoticed for 9, almost 10hrs....my TT only took 6hrs to arrive. However, I may not have had enough to hold the city since I have less cities to defend with, and had lost a lot of support already, BUT perhaps I could have considering ALL of crego's short range LS attacks were sunk and his long range attacks would have landed AFTER the siege had ended....hard to say really. I timed his known LS cities and majority that were not sunk on his siege attempt were too far, but perhaps he had more...its a he said, she said scenario I suppose.
In any case, Crego did admit I did an "excellent job" (quoted). My ONLY wish was the AD took my bet I posted 2 week ago...he would have had to ghost as a result
. Crego, you did a good job in your attempt against me, you just fell a wee tad short
And although I did not support my siege entirely myself, I did outplay Keelee very well and you to a certain level.
In the end, we can keep score in many ways.
1) Crego 0, ArrZee 1 for winning the battle.
2) Crego 0, ArrZee 2 for defending 2 CS
3) Crego 0, Arrzee 1 for who has taken a city ...although..
4) Crego 0, Arrzee 0 can be argued (kind of) since I got help supporting the city. On the other hand and again, I'm miles away, less than 1/2 the size and its hard to say if crego really had enough LS close enough to sink my support with just over 2 hrs left without getting help.
