Do you need conquest researched to take a ghost town in a conquest world?

It seems like I had trouble taking a ghost town without having conquest researched in the Omega world. Is that true that you need conquest researched in a conquest world or is that a setting. I'm playing in us.grepolis now too and in Gamma. Do I need conquest reasearched to take a ghost town there or just a CS?

On gamma, you need "Conquest" researched because it is a siege conquest. However, if you were playing on a Revolt world, you wouldn't need "Conquest" ;-)
