created an alliance and I want out

How can I get out of my own alliance I created. I thought it was just a friend request sent. Could I join another and delete the old alliance?

If you press 'Alliance' (Between 'Reports' and 'Alliance Forum'), and go to the tab 'Properties', you can disband the alliance. By doing so, you will leave the alliance, and the alliance will be deleted.
