revolts

I mistakenly clicked on the wrong farming villager that I was going to conquer, and I'd like to know if it's possible to purposely LOSE it so I can conquer a different one without 300 slings. Can I just keep looting it to 0? Or what, I'm not sure if it's possible, please let me knows. Thanks.
